NBC Events Marketing / Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary party invitation
Saturday Night Live’s 40th anniversary party was to be held in the Rainbow Room in 30 Rockefeller Plaza. The client wanted the design to reflect the momentous occasion and the iconic Art Deco setting.
Gold metallic ink on black uncoated paper. Reich Shine gold metallic envelope. Pattern on back of invitation inspired by geometric brass relief work in Rockefeller Center.
Alternate design options included a coaster and a custom deco pattern of NBC peacock feather shapes.
